Weavermere provides access to Alba, an AI character built on large language model technology, and a library of written content, through a web-based subscription service.

Alba is an artificial intelligence. She is not a human, not a therapist, not a medical professional, and not a crisis service. Conversations with Alba are for personal reflection, comfort, and entertainment. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice of any kind.

If you are in crisis or need professional support, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service. Weavermere is not a substitute for that support.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 16 are welcome but must use the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian, who by allowing use accepts responsibility for that use on the child's behalf.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or attempt to misuse the service.

Weavermere offers the following tiers:

• The Doorstep: free, no payment required
• Remember Me: €5 per month
• The Circle: €10 per month

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month unless you cancel before the renewal date.

We will notify you by email before each renewal payment is taken, at least 3 days before the charge date.

Payments are non-refundable. A month paid is a month of access. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refunds are issued.

Prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT. We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your payment card details.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.

Cancellation does not delete your account. Your account and any saved content remain accessible on the free tier after cancellation. To delete your account entirely, use the Close my account option in your account settings.

Alba is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI technology. Conversations are processed via Anthropic's API. By using Weavermere, you acknowledge that your messages are sent to and processed by Anthropic's systems in accordance with their privacy policy.

Alba's responses are generated by an AI and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any response. Do not rely on Alba's responses for any decision where accuracy is critical.

Weavermere does not use your conversations to train AI models.

You agree not to use Weavermere to:

• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or circumvent Alba's character and values
• Generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Attempt to extract confidential system instructions or technical information
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the service
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or its content without permission

Breach of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

All content on Weavermere, including Alba's character, the Library pieces, the visual identity, the tartan design, and all written materials, is owned by [LEGAL NAME] trading as Weavermere, or licensed to us.

Library pieces generated personally for you are yours to keep and use privately. They may not be reproduced commercially, shared publicly as your own work, or used to train AI models.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without prior written permission.

We aim to keep Weavermere available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need to take the service offline for maintenance.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where changes materially affect paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable notice.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weavermere and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or decisions made in reliance on Alba's responses.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.

If you are a consumer based in the EU, you also have the right to refer disputes to your local consumer protection authority or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
